The ideal candidate would be an RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Medicine or a very experienced Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine. An interest in medical neurology would be an advantage. You must be willing to support and mentor junior members of the medical team. There may be an opportunity for the right candidate to lead the medical team. The position could be full time or part time and includes 6 weeks holiday plus Public Holidays (pro rata), birthday leave, CPD allowance, private healthcare, pension scheme, RCVS library and BVA memberships, VDS cover, relocation packages and various other benefits.
Bath Veterinary Referrals is a well-established multidisciplinary referral centre based at Rosemary Lodge Veterinary Hospital in the World Heritage City of Bath. Facilities include 16 slice Siemens CT, MRI, ultrasound and video endoscopy. Clinicians have access to same day reference laboratory testing, specialist image interpretation and are supported by a team of experienced referral nurses that includes diploma holders. Our disciplines include internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology plus soft tissue, orthopaedic and spinal surgery.
