Head Nurse at Rosemary Lodge

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and encouraging nurse to assist with leading the nursing team at Rosemary Lodge Veterinary Hospital. This position will be clinically based with minimal admin tasks, and a successful applicant will be part of the rota.

At Rosemary Lodge, our first opinion nurses work on a rota providing inpatient care and assisting with operations. All nurses are encouraged to fully utilise their nursing skills whilst sharing ideas and learning from peers. The working week is divided up into shifts between 7.30 am and 7.30 pm and we are supported by twilight and night teams. All nurses are expected to work 1:8 weekend and 1 bank holiday each year. We offer a competitive salary for this position depending on experience.

About Us

At Bath Vets, we are very focused on the well-being of our team and provide a friendly environment to work within. We are a busy first opinion practice and run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We have all the usual toys including state of the art equipment such as MRI and CT scanning, K Laser Therapy and endoscopy.

We are a large team of vets, nurses, kennel assistants, reception staff and support staff all working under one roof. Our clinical team benefits from surgical and medical certificate holders, and this provides a varied and interesting workload. Applicant Requirements

The successful applicant will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for providing the very best in patient and client care. Ideally, the successful applicant will have previous team leader or management experience, but most importantly is a willingness to be a team player. This role would suit someone who thrives on being busy and enjoys supporting and encouraging colleagues.
