First Opinion Nurse based mainly at Rosemary Lodge
An exciting opportunity has become available for a First Opinion Nurse at Rosemary Lodge Veterinary Hospital!
Your duties will include providing inpatient care and assisting with operations. All nurses are encouraged to fully utilise their nursing skills whilst sharing ideas and learning from peers.
The working week is divided up into shifts between 7.30am and 7.30pm over 4 or 5 days, and we are supported by twilight and night teams meaning there is no regular night work. All nurses are expected to work 1:8 weekends and 1 bank holiday each year.
At Bath Vets we are very focused on wellbeing and provide a friendly environment to work within. We run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and we are a busy first opinion practice. We have all the usual toys including state of the art equipment such as MRI and CT scanning, K Laser Therapy and endoscopy.
About the Team and Culture
We are a large team of vets, nurses, kennel assistants, reception staff and support staff all working under one roof. Our clinical team benefits from surgical and medical certificate holders, and this provides a varied and interesting workload. We pride ourselves on our friendly team and strive to make all new team members feel as welcome as possible.
The successful applicant will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for providing the very best in patient and client care. Ideally the successful applicant will have previous hospital experience, but most importantly is a willingness to be a team player. This role would suit someone who thrives on being busy and enjoys a varied case load.
