Sara graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in London in July 2017 with an intercalated degree in Bioveterinary Sciences. Sara spent her first two years working as an 'ambulatory' equine vet in Berkshire, Bristol and North-East Somerset. She enjoyed providing first opinion and emergency care for a mixture of racehorses, sport horses and 'happy hackers'. Sara developed her true passion for providing small animal veterinary care whilst working at a rural-based practice in Berkshire. This included treating local owners beloved pets, active working dogs and at the local Dogs Trust.
In January 2020, Sara moved to live in the City of Bath with her partner Patrick. She found Bath to be the perfect blend of her outdoor upbringing in the Peak District countryside and time spent living in London as a student. In February 2020, Sara joined the team at Bath Vets and usually splits her time between Oldfield Park Vets and Rosemary Lodge Hospital. She enjoys all aspects of her role in first opinion practice and especially developing a long-standing rapport with both pets and their owners.
Outside of work, Sara is an active member of the fitness community in Bath including Toniq Life and Hive Yoga Studio. Sara also enjoys exploring the South-West countryside either by foot, on bike or out on the water with her friends and family.
