Katie Weathers

Katie joined the Bath Vets team in 2017 as a Kennel Assistant then later in 2020 she moved across to the Bath Vet Referrals team. In 2022 she started studying at Hartpury University and is studying to become a veterinary nurse, she really has worked her way up through the ranks. Before joining Bath Vets in 2017 she studied at Bath College and gained her Veterinary Care Assistant and Animal Care qualifications. This also included work experience at a veterinary surgery in Frome and Bath Vets very own Station Road surgery. What Katie loves teh most about her job is caring for her patients and seeing them go home feeling so much better. She is greatly enjoying learning about all aspects of nursing, once she is qualified she aspires to continue her studies to complete a certificate in an area of her choosing. Outside of work and studying she enjoys playing with her cat Chunks, who she rescued at barely one day old back in 2019, and has hand raised since. She also enjoys baking and trying new recipes, much to the delight of her family and friends.
